    Hello everyone.

I need to know the optimum size for the signature image on Olsen light theme.

It was fine before, so I’m not sure what happened. Maybe an update changed the formatting? It is only showing a portion of the image and it’s pixilated. I’ve tried resize it on wordpress to no avail. And I just uploaded a new image where the text is stacked instead of written straight across but it’s still doing it.

I am a newbie to wordpress, and I don’t know coding so you’re going to have to “dumb it down” for me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  • Hi there, you can try 170x36px for your “Theme-About Me” widget
Let me know if this works

Thank you so much for the prompt response! That size worked!

But it’s really small and pixilated. I realize with images this small that’s the way it is, but I was wondering if there was some sort of work-around that would allow a bigger image (maybe 300×166) right there. Maybe add CSS? I don’t code so I have no idea how to write that, but I’m thinking add one of those text boxes to the widget with code for the image??

Don’t laugh if that is crazy. lol Clearly I’m new. 😉

    Hi there,
dont worry where are here to help you out 🙂

Could you please upload a larger image so I can have a closer look?

I just uploaded 299×86. And it seems like it is fitting instead of getting cut off. Still a little blurry but significantly better.

When uploading or changing the images size on wordpress, would it matter if I am doing it on an iMac or a macbook? Because I just changed it on the macbook and it fits now. Weird. Unless I just never tried 299×86.

What would cause an image that was fine to suddenly have formatting issues?

    Hi there,
glad to hear this is working. Image could have formatting issues only is a CSS style is applied upon it.
