I’ve just inherited a website from a friend but I don’t know that much about WordPress, though i’m interested in learning, seems like a great program.
I’ve got a problem with the side bars on his site, most of which are going to a dead link. (see here) http://www.healthfarefares.com/ (notice on the right hand side the majority of links are going to page not found)
I’d like to know whether it’s possible to modify these dead links thru the control panel and where this can be done, if it can be done thru the control panel.
As I mentioned, i’m new to WordPress, but not new to programming.
everything in that sidebar is what is called a widget
you can check them out
dashboard – appearance – widgets
here you can edit. remove, re-order or add more widgets
I appreciate the quick response, when I look at the widgets, there is nothing in any of them, can this cause the behavior of the dead link, or does there have to be an url present, that is going to a dead link?
Thanks,
Art
