Sidebar on homepage?

Hello wordpress forum!
Iv’e started using this awesome tool, and its really fantastic.

Yesterday i tried to add a sidebar to my website with facebook like widget.
It works well on all pages, but it does not work on my homepage?

How do i get it to work on the homepage?
im using the theme called ” The Style v 1.7 “.

as you see if you press a post, it will turn up a siderbar to the right with facebook.
but it does not do this on the homepage, how do i fix it?
