    Hi. I put a few plugins on my k2 instilation and it has affected the sidebar somehow i think. the site is http://www.numpti.co.uk and as you can see the sidebar and the font is larger and its effecting the lower part of the page. any ideas? i’m not a coder and am learning this as i go. i reinstalled the k2 theme but its still the same.

  • Never copy/paste from MS Word into the wysiwyg editor and you’ll be fine.

    thanks for the advice i’ll be sure to use it in future but it hasnt helped me now. any advice on resolving the issue?

    You have to clean up the code in your posts. The reason I said not to use Word is not because of my personal taste – it is because it adds a lot of garbage code to your posts that affect the layout of your blog.

    If you have to use Word > copy the text and paste it into a plain text editor like Notepad and from there into WP. One more step but less headache.
    You’ll have to perform this with all your posts written in Word…

    thanks. one the only page affected there are two posts both of which i have re edited ain notepad with exactly the same font. one the other pages the sidebar is the correct size. see. http://www.numpti.co.uk/?page_id=20
    i still dont have a fix for the problem.
    any other ideas?

    resloved after a lot of rewriting and saving posts its sorted now. thanks!
