Sidebar Gone and certain pictures!

Hi guys

Im using the Sydney Theme and for the last year the sidebar has worked, all the way up to 2 days agao and now it has dissapeared from my home page. When I go to customise, widgets, it just lists the footers and no sidebar. Ive changed the page from front page, to default template and back again and just cant get it back

How do I get this back??

Also some of the pages have the photos and pictures missing. I have tried adding them back onto the page but they do not show when published.
