Sidebar content conflict with entry content

Hello,

I have an issue where my sidebar and certain content like plugin widgets are reacting to another plugin that is in the entry class. The two items are far enough apart that they shouldn’t be fighting one another for space but it bounces entry content down pass the widget and breaks up the site.

I tried to position content of the widget (where permitted) and I found that absolute did a great job removing the offending widget in question out of conflict with the entry items…but of course that was not an ideal solution should there be a short page or more sidebar widgets below it that move up underneath it.

Has anyone run into this before?
