Sidebar Breaks Website

    Hi,

    I’m using the latest version of WordPress and upgrading to a Twenty Eleven child theme. For some reason every time I include the get_sidebar option the layout breaks with this message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_theme_options() in sidebar.php on line 10

    I’ve done a bit of research and the only relavent post was someone having this issue a couple of years ago with an old version of WordPress, their problem was the page was missing the get_header tag which I have.

    Please help!

    have you edited sidebar.php?

    line 10 in an unedited sidebar.php of Twenty Eleven would show:
    $options = twentyeleven_get_theme_options();

    get_theme_options() does not seem to be a generic wordpress function.
