P.S. To clarify: Under color customization, the option is to set the border color for widgets, not for sidebars. I do not see that widget border anywhere.

The color settings refer to the text colors — the body text color of the widgets and the bottom border created with links. I hope that clarifies things.
If you want to add a vertical dividing border or get more specific with your colors, you’ll need to add custom CSS.

I see that most of the color settings are for text, but the widget border color option sounds like it’s specific to borders. (The global secondary color, which the widget border color option overrides, controls borders including any above or below the nav menu.)
Yet I did wonder if custom CSS might be needed for a vertical divider. I looked around, but haven’t yet found the right code for that.
