    Hello,

    Is there a way to disable the sidebar on certain pages where i feel it may be of use to do so?

    I did fine a place to remove the sidebar but I thought I was doing it for the one page only that I was working on; it did it to all pages. I would like it just to be on certain pages. Also is there a way of restoring what I previously had on the sidebar easily?

    You can choose the layout for each page. In Edit Page make sure you have select layout checked in Screen Options. On right in Select Layout choose from the 2 layouts that remove the sidebar. It applies only to that page.
