Showing wrong menu

    Hey there,
    i really like using this plugin, but now i’ve got a problem.
    While I was updating some other plugins I checked the mobile view on both languages (via WPML).
    On the english website the responsive menu does not display the correct menu (selected in backend). I once deleted the menu, recreated it and then directly selected it again for the responsive menu.
    Nevertheless, the wrong menu is shown.

    Has anyone ever had this mistake before?

    Hi there,

    Can you check what you have selected in the Initial Setup > Menu to Use and the Menu > Advanced > Theme Location Menu and make sure they are correct?

    Also, please check your WPML settings to see if you are translating any of the strings related to the menu. These would either be menu_to_use or theme_location.

    Please let me know what you find.

    Hey Peter,
    thanks for your quick response.
    I checked that before i wrote.
    I can’t find anything in WPML that could be reason for the mistake

    Hey there,

    It’s quite hard to know in that case. Have you tried disabling other plugins or the theme to see if they are doing something to your menus?

    Do you have any caching installed either on the site or at server level that you can disable or clear temporarily?

    Hey there,
    there’s no chache Plugin installed.
    If i deactivate the WPML the menu works the right way.
    But i can’t find the strings menu_to_use oder theme_location in WPML.

    Hey there,

    That’s weird. Have you looked in the String Translations section along with the others for Responsive Menu?

    Have you spoken to WPML about it?
