    Hi @triran,

    Sorry for this problem! I realize that the layout / option should be clearer.

    The “Read More” link is appended to the excerpt, so if you don’t have an excerpt, the hidden excerpt takes the read more link with it. I should either improve the interface to make this clear or remove this restriction.

    Also, are you using the fpw_auto_excerpt filter?

    Thanks for that screenshot. A few questions:

    1. Can you send me a screenshot of the widget that produces?
    2. Are you using the fpw_auto_excerptfilter or any template customizations?
    3. What happens if you check “Excerpt” in “Show Page Elements?”

    I’m going to mark this as [resolved] as I think it’s more a limitation than a bug. That said, I’ll hopefully address this with a future release.

    I need more details than a screenshot to understand if this is the expected behavior of the plugin or an actual bug. Please answer #2 and #3 from above as well.
