Shortcode breaks theme MISC

As soon as I add the shortcode
[rwpe](with or without parameters) to a page, the content of that page isn’t displayed anymore. It just displays the page header and footer, not any other content (text and images) of the page.Not sure if this is a general thing or related to my theme? I’m using the MISC theme.
