    Hello I need help.
When I share my pages and posts on facebook, in the share box description appears this strange code:
    %5Bvc_row%5D%5Bvc_column%5D%5Bvc_single_image+image%3D%221436%22+
    It’s very long.
I think it’s the code of visual composer that facebook open graph read as description.
Facebook doesn’t read the Yoast seo plugin. Why? How can I solve the problem?
    I attach 2 screenshots:

    https://postimg.org/image/hf7bsvgzl/
The second one is the source code from google chrome: in og:description there is all the code that facebook read.
    Thank you for any help.

  • We looked at your provided page source code and we can confirm that Yoast SEO plugin is generating the social open graph meta description correctly as expected.

However, we see that there are multiple copies of the social open graph meta which is generating the Visual Composer code as the social open graph meta description. This could come from either a plugin or the theme you’re using. The most common source of it’s a theme. Theme set the metadata automatically so the social media can use this information to display the content while sharing it. All good themes have a feature/setting that lets you choose to not add the social open graph metadata.

For consistent predictable results, your site should include a single set of social open graph metadata. If you are unsure what is adding the additional copies, please check for conflicts by following the steps here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts?

    Thank you so muche @mazedulislamkhan
    I understand.
So I must deactivate the open graph matadata in the social menu of Yoast seo.
I try this way because I cannot change theme and in the theme settings there isn’t the possibilities to add ot not social open graph metadata. I will ask to theme’s developer.
    Thank you for your explanation.
