    Hi,

I’m using this wonderful plugin on a client’s site and we’re getting an error message when we click on the “share” button. Is there anyway to disable this or can you you help me troubleshoot this?

Error Message: “App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.”

    Kind regards,
    Crys

    Hey Crys,

I’d love to look into this for you. 🙂

May I have the URL of where the Facebook Page widget is?

    Kind regards,

    Dylan

    Hi Dylan,

    Here’s the URL: http://mauragale.com/
The widget is on the homepage.

    Thanks!

    Aaaaaaaaaand, it’s fixed. 🙂

It should now gracefully fallback to my Facebook App ID.

If you’d like to configure you’re own Facebook App to receive an App ID, then you should check this out: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/

Optional: After you create the App copy and paste the App ID into the Advanced settings of Simple Facebook Options. 🙂

Let me know if you need any help.

    Kind regards,

    Dylan

    Hi again,

I just noticed that the share button only seems to work when I’m logged in (on Facebook) under my client’s credentials. But the error message still appears when logged in under other usernames. Can you help?

    Hey!

I’m seeing this error: “Error: Not a valid Facebook Page url.”

Can you paste exactly what the Facebook URL you are trying to use is?

    Kind regards,

    Dylan
