Shadowbox-JS Alternative?

    When I started my block 4 years ago I installed a plugin called Shadowbox-JS. Unfortunately that plugin no longer functions. I loved it because I could make little grids of 2-whatever number of photos and select the number of columns and insert them wherever I wanted in a post. The user could then click on any photo to expand them and cycle through all of the photos in an expanded form. I have been unable to find any plugin that allows such simple and useful functionality. Does anyone know of a simple alternative?
