Hi, the first option of a select field type can be in brackets to indicate that it must be selected.
example:
[Please select]
Red
Green
Blue
Let me know if this is what you mean.
Regards
Thanks for responding. However, no, that’s not it.
What I’m needing is to have an option already checked (pre-selected)
e.g. Subscribe to Newsletter
Yes
I’d like the check box for Yes to pre-selected.
Or on another form I have a two-radio button response where I’d like to have the Yes pre-selected.
Thank you for clarifying your question further. I now know what you mean. Using the above example. When you are editing the fields. In the following entry Field Modifiers Default:2. This would make Green the default option selected. If you wanted to make Blue the default field then you would type 3.
Red
Green
Blue

Thanks again
I’ve done what I think you’re telling me to do but still don’t get the result.
I’m adding screen shots below to make sure I did it right.
When I “Preview Form” it still doesn’t show one of the boxes checked.

Hi, sorry but you misunderstood me. You don’t type Default:2 you only type the number 2.
Kind regards
Thanks for your patience mbrsolution.
That did the trick. The form now looks exactly as I need it.
Much appreciated.
