Server upgrade cause Problem in wordpress

    Everything was working perfect until my Host decided to do a huge software and hardware upgrade

    Myblog on Host is still running:
    MySQL 4
    PHP 4
    Apache 2

    My domain is : http://www.jlfusion.com
    I have wordpress in the web root so when i acess the domain
    it go straith into the blog

    Problem:

    When i try to acess certain thing in wordpress blog
    such as http://www.jlfusion.com/wp-admin
    Before i got the login screen but now instead i get
    a dialog asking to download a .php file to my Pc
    To acess login i have to type http://www.jlfusion.com/wp-login.php

    Now I was trying to install a new wordpress in another Folder location
    I uploaded to a folder called “CHART” and moved the wordpress 2.7 and some themes there

    Then i am supose to run the installation file again this time at:
    http://www.jlfusion.com/CHART/wp-admin/install.php

    When i try to do that instead of getting installtion screen
    I get a page with my blog background at root folder
    with “Error 404 – Not Found
    You have try to access to unavailable area or that page you want to access not in the host.”

    I then type in without www:
    http://jlfusion.com/CHART/wp-admin/install.php

    And it ask me if i want to Save the file “install.php” to disk

    I just checked running the installation on root that is already installed to see what happens

    When acessing:
    http://www.jlfusion.com/wp-admin/install.php

    I get that is already installed (something expected)

    But then when i type without www:
    http://jlfusion.com/wp-admin/install.php

    I am asked if i want to save the file “install.php” to disk again

    So how do i Fix this, I am contacting my host
    but i hope someone here can help me fix the problem

    The change host did was:
    – The adress to access my control panel and webmail changed
    – IP change the hosting change from being acessed to a exlusive IP to shared IP so can only acess page by typing in the exact domain name
    – Folder adress on server changes from
    /home/username/domainame-www/ to
    var/www/vhosts/domainame/httpdocs/

    – PHP no change and safe_mode” = active , “register_globals” ) deactivated

    – PERL is now not recomended to use Perl if using perl ask the host technicans

    Hi

    Since this problem occurred from changes your webhost made, I suggest you file a ticket with them and have them help you straighten this out. They know better than anyone what they did to your server.

    The problem was on the server
    the server move was done in 2 steps
    the first step gave me a new control panel (while the old still was avaible) and the FTP changed.

    All change done by FTP or new Control panel would not show up
    but when i made change in old Control panel it showed up.

    This was all Solved today when the second last step in server move was done

    But now i have anoter Problem All change (A lot) I did yesterday to the blog has Been reset

    Probaly because the change was done on the old servers/old control panel and this new change was not moved

    I could not backup either because FTP was not working
    (could only backup each blog content on notepads files, yea not even the wordpress backup file worked)

    It might be my host has a backup so i am contacting them now

    But atleast I know all this problem was on the server host
