Password protect page with downloads?

    Hi

    Please advice… I have protected a page with downloads items. But from my front page when entering the search bar and typing in a search for that file, it shows up with the download file?? How can this be??

    what procedure are you using to restrict access to the page content?

    are you testing the security of the page while you are logged into the dashboard?

    please provide link to website and list of installed plugins.
