This is a shot in the dark, as I have not seen this exact behavior. I have seen similar behavior, in that clicking an image in a post in the editor will place its edit / delete link icons totally outside the editor UNLESS I click inside the editor before clicking anything else.
To explain… it’s like when I click in the editor it says “OH! That’s what I should be paying attention to.”
So, before creating gallery, make sure you have clicked in the content area and see what happens.
Just a guess…
Good luck,
Paul
Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress 3.4.
Paul I tried what you say but it doesn´t work, the virtual editor is still hidden in the left.
Esmi I have tried all except switching the theme, I’ll try when I´ll make a backup. This problem appeared when I made the update to WordPress 3.4.1 I don´t know if it’s possible return to a previous version.
Esmi I did all that you said, and still doesn´t work, I don´t know what can I do! I searched for someone else with the same problem and I didn´t find nothing.
