Selecting Post Category

    I have installed wp 1.2 mingus and when writing a post I don’t see the category dropdown menu that I had in wp 1.0.2 blakey. How do I go about selecting the category that I want the post to be in? I’ve looked in the docs and searched the forum, but I can’t seem to find the answer….

    It *should* be to the right of the advanced editing screen ?

    I just figured it out. I had selected “show advanced controls” under options-writing. When I changed it to “simple controls” the category options showed up on the posts page.
    Podz, thanks for your help. I’m off to see if I can find something else to do wrong, so that you won’t get bored…
