Selected Comments on frontpage

    Hi there,

    I’m setting up a photoshopping-site using WordPress. It will be very simple: the post (written from the dashboard) contains the challenge description, and the comments are used for the entries by the various users. (posting images using a bb-code plugin).

    Now, I want to feature every ‘great’ image (comment) on the frontpage. So I searched everywhere and thought I hit the honeypot with the ‘Comment Promoter’ plugin, but it is out of developement and nowhere to be seen..

    Then I started searching for something that lets me add a custom key or category to a comment, thus marking it and being able to ‘extract’ it onto the frontpage. No luck.

    Can somebody suggest me something? Or perhaps it’s an easy coding-job?

    It’s been resolved! A mate, who actually knows php unlike me, has written some new functionality, enabling me to do just the thing I requested.

    He may or may not post the sollution here, I’ll give him a link to this page.
