any chance of an SS of what you are seeing, looks clear on FF/Opera/Safari/IE6/IE7 on XP and safari mac, would like to see how they show on your screen see if theres something I need to/can change (if you can get an SS can you list your settings too, screen resolution, os (version info), browser, monitor type so i can try to recreate the scenario locally and determine the fix

For the most part it looks like it was designed by a pro
No special reason – mostly personal preference. I just like light backgrounds better. Easier to read…it seems that lately I’ve been seeing a lot of sites with black backgrounds and medium-colored text, like gray – makes it very hard to read and is irritating to me!
Like I said, though – I like your site, black background or not. For you, it works.
