Scheduling thumbnail refresh

    I’ve looked but cannot find the answer so if it exists, I apologize in advance.

    Is it possible to schedule a refresh of thumbnails? Once a day or week or the like.

    If not, can this be a feature request?

    No, there is no way to currently schedule thumbnail refreshes. Since the generation of thumbnails relies on an external free service, I do not like the idea of having users of my plugins regularly ping their service. The main idea behind generating thumbnails was to facilitate the generation of images once, not on a regular schedule.
