• Hi everyone,
I got a problem with scheduling post. I try many times and search for it, but nothing found.
My problem is,when I schedule a post, after OK button pushed, it shows the right time just perfect. I wait for it to be published, but then the scheduled time changes by itself to one day before and nothing published !
    Any help much appreciated !
    my site is : merryandhealthy.com

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Hi esmi,
    Thank you for your suggestions.

I’d like to send you a snapshot on this but dont know how to do here !
Anyway,I have only 1h. difference between UTC and my local time. Can this become the issue ?
By the way,now if I want to publish immediatly, again I can’t because of I can see just an UPDATE button and on Status section always written “scheduled” !

    how to fix it ?

Just the one post? Or have you tried with other posts and different content?

Yes, just the one post. I’ve scheduled it ysterday for today 13:30 and then when I checked it, I saw that, it is still not published ! And then till now I try to figure out the problem, but no hope !

Try scheduling a new post with some dummy text and see what happens. This may be a server security issue.

This is also without result ! I did as you told, but again no published!

by the way, i read old messages in forum and I noticed that, I have even not seen an error message as ” Missed schedule” etc… ! This is getting more stranger !!

What dummy content text did you use?

Sorry,my previous message was for it. A new dummy content text also didn’t change anything !

” – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress ” …. I’ll try to download yesterday’s backup file and then try to upload these two file. I inform you later.

You must use a fresh download of WordPress 3.3.1. The whole point of the exercise to replace any damaged or corrupted core files.

esmi…I’m sorry but one thing I’d like to make clear in my mind. Now I check some files in wp-admin and wp-includes from my last backup files. And when I compare with current wp-admin and wp-includes files in my root file, I can’t see any difference between them. So, I hesitate now to upload and then get worse case in this matter !

Couldn’t be a problem if reupload these files ?

You must use a fresh download of WordPress 3.3.1.
