Hi @roliw80
Default layers can increase the height of the slide (thus the height of the whole slider) when they need more vertical space.
In your case the problem seems to be that you used empty lines in the heading layer to move the content to the bottom of the slide. Remove these empty lines and use the Vertical Align to position your layers.
Make sure you adjust every slide, because the height of the slider is set by the height of the tallest slide. So your slider continues to be tall until you fix the height of every slide.
Dear Ramona, thank you very much, that works great. Do you know why my texts don’t get smaller on mobile, even though I switched to adaptive? Thanks so much.
Hi @roliw80
That’s the intend behavior of the Default layers, and it happens because the Adaptive sizing is enabled by default on the Content layer:

Because of this option, the text sizes stay the same on each device, so they won’t get too small on smaller screens.
If you want to have smaller text sizes on mobile, use the Text scale option, as you can see in the Responsive Settings video.
Dear Ramona, thank you very much, you’re the best!
