“Saving failed: AJAX call failed: error – . Try again while…”

    Hi Tobias, I’m stuck….

    When I “Save Changes” I get:

    Saving failed: AJAX call failed: error – . Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.

    And when I do Shift-Save, I get:

    Error: The table could not be saved.

    I already use an HTML validator to get rid of HTML bugs. I also reverted all my changes of today (or at least so I think), deleted those rows, and still the same.

    Today was a WordPress update, could that have anything to do with it?

    It’s only one that specific table by the way.

    Discussed with my host. Fixed in wp-config.php

    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512’);

    changed to ———>

    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1048’);

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble. Also sorry for the long wait. As I was on holidays, I could reply earlier.

    Yes, this sounds like a possible cause for this. Could to hear that increasing the memory limit helped!
