Sage compatibility

We use Sage theme which utilizes Blade template: https://github.com/roots/sage

Although we have a section in the code that runs comments_template() function (and it works properly), the plugin seems to fail to override. We ended up following suggestion to directly call PHP file in our template:

This seems like a fragile approach that depends on the file name to stay the same forever. Is there any way you can fix compatibility with Sage theme?
