  • I suggest you install the Query Monitor plugin. I have found that, while P3 is very good when you start building a site, in situations like this it is sometimes a bit misleading.

Query Monitor should pinpoint not only which plugin is causing a problem, but precisely where in that plugin the problem lies.

Thanks for that, I ended up hooking up with cloudflare which has worked well at reducing page loading time.

@fionac, it doesn’t seem as though your issue is resolved. Your pages is still taking a long time to load. There’s several problematic things going on with your site:

    1) You’re loading an enormous number of assets. Over 240 requests for external files.
    2) Your homepages clocks in at nearly 3.6 megabytes. That’s huge.
    3) Your ie.css file is leading to a 404 not found.
    4) It doesn’t look like many of the third-party scripts you’re loading are doing so asynchronously.
    5) You have a large number of files (mostly .js scripts) that are loading in the head section, but it doesn’t even look like they’re being used for anything.

Has the site always loaded slowly or did it just occur with a recent update?
