I’m not sure the exact approach you’re looking for, but here’s a Yahoo! Pipe I created that takes an RSS feed and randomizes its items, outputting a new feed:

thank you but isn’t pretty much with me
How do I enable my RSS feeds to list in random order rather than post date order
is there any modification on wp files or plugin to get rss show post randomly instead of newest posts ..??
please help
There isn’t any thing off topic that I can think that randomize the feeds posts. Everything published to the feed is in chronological order. The idea of an RSS feed is to keep users aware of new content on a site. Having an RSS feed that is random would me it would be difficult for the user to use the RSS feed as expected. What is your reasoning behind randomizing the RSS feed?

I was looking for the same thing and came up with the following query example http://wordpress.org/development/?feed=rss2&orderby=rand
