RSS Feed Aggregator Website

Hi, I have a website that is using the WP RSS Multi-Importer plugin to bring in close to 100 RSS feeds which I have spread over 5 pages in my site. Sometimes it takes a page 10 seconds to load. I tried this plugin but didnt see any real improvement, in fact sometimes it seemed worse. I am pretty sure this is on account of me not having the right settings.

So, my question is – what would you set-up for a configuration for my scenario. I literally am pulling in feeds for 4 of my 5 pages – only my homepage is made of posts that I actually have in my DB. Is it not possible to cache the RSS feeds. Issue is they need to update about every 30 mins or so to remain fresh…
