Role Scoper Basic Restriction Issues

    In most basic terms I want complete restricted access, and I want to allow access for role groups. So what I’ve done is I’ve set all the restrictions (page, posts, and categories) to restricted. Then I defined the categories restriction to work for my particular group (the WP role is Subscriber). When I log in as that user, I do not see the category listed on the category widget, and nothing is showing up on the main blog (nothing found). What am I doing wrong? Do I have too much restriction? Anything I need to check?

    Setting Post Restrictions means roles must be assigned per-post, not just per-category. I think what you really want is just Category Restrictions and Category Roles.
