restore content and mysql

You just extract the contents of the backup and you’ll have FileSystem and Database, then you restore them to your host basically in whatever manner you need. Usually FTP upload of the files, then import the SQL using your web host control panel and phpMyAdmin into a database – make sure name/user/pass for that database is same as before, or you’ll just need to edit wp-config.php before uploading to FTP.
