responsive theme by themeid

Hello,

I have been playing with the rsponsvie theme by ThemeID and so far I really like it. But I have a problem with it and I have been all over their forums and followed lots and lots of instructions and my issue is not resolved.

My issue is simple: I want to add a few paragraphs after the 3 widgets on the homepage. I do NOT need to create new widgets, I would be ok with going to the php and css files and modifying the codes. I think in my case, I probably need to modify front-page.php or home.php

I want the paragraphs to have a white background, and be full-width (I think that’s 940 or 960 px? )

How do I do this? This should be very simple, I think I just need to add a couple of div’s. but I am dumb and can’t figure it out.
