Hi jakobemils can you share the URL which shows the images so that we can check in a mobile browser.
Thank you
Hi again
Sure – take a look here: http://julieoestergaard.dk/butik/
From 360px (width) and up it is fine, but below the images and text becomes partly not visible.
The thumbnail images generated by the plugin are 300px + with border etc. + they do not seem to be responsivene, well then of course the shop items do not show up correctly.
Hi jakobemils thank you for sharing the link. Unfortunately you have it under construction and it is blocked. So I can’t check the website.
Kind regards
Sorry for that.
It is now available. Thanks
Hi jakobemils, thank you for letting me check. I checked on my mobile phone and I can read the text underneath the image. What mobile phone are you using or have tested on?
Thank you
Hi there
I am using an Iphone 4.
You can check the issue using this link:
http://halgatewood.com/responsive/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fjulieoestergaard.dk%2Fbutik%2F&sizes=240×320%2C320x480%2C480x640%2C768x1024%2C1024x768&enabled_scrolling=1
As mentioned earlier from 360px everything is fine, but below the item header and image are not fully visible.
Hi jakobemils I tried the link above but your page displayed as down. Another words it not running. I also tested your website in my android phone and my iPhone 3gs and it worked well, no issues.
Regards
My page is running fine…
From my Iphone 4 the images of items and the text is not fully shown. Could you provide ad screendump or something so I can see what you see on Iphone3gs and Android?
Hi have you cleared your mobile cache?
Yes and no change… images are not show in full…
Hi here is the LINK on my iPhone 3GS.
Regards
Thanks!
As you can see, the headline txt (item txt) is not fully shown:-(
Okay I see what you mean. The G is not fully shown. What you need to think about is that you are using 300px in width for each image. If you want to really implement responsive layout then you have to start thinking about using percentage %.
For example if each image width is 300px change that to about 45%. On your front page you have two images displayed so 45% x 2 = 90% of the full front page width. The other 10% can be left out to compensate for borders, margins etc. This is just an example. You can adjust this to what ever makes you happy.
Let me know how you go.
Regards
Cool! I think I managed to make the needed changes by custom CSS:-)
Thanks!
That is great news 🙂 if you don’t need any more help can you mark this support thread as resolved.
Thank you
