• The Beauty and Clean theme doesn’t download properly – or install properly from the WordPress Theme manager.
It gives you a “requested theme doesn’t exist” error message. When you log into the server, the files that download with it are incomplete, and most of them are identical to the Twenty Ten theme. The files don’t match the ones in the WordPress Theme Editor.

  • Worked fine for me just now

I’ve noticed that some of the wordpress.org servers are not responding correctly this evening and sometimes produce a blank page that requires a refresh. My guess is that something of this nature may have affected your theme download. Give it a few hours and then try again.

I’ve tried downloading the theme again, but I’m still getting the same error message. The problem looks like it’s with the theme itself – I am able to download and change other themes without issue.

    Thanks for your help.

I did download from your site and succeeded half way; I can now change the css but the General settings are only General and not Colors, Typography, Sliders, and Contact Customize. And a tag Premium showed up!

The theme is fantastic but only if it works!
    All the best

I had the same problem. My fix:

    In the stylesheet.css, change

“Theme name: Beauty & Clean” to
    “Theme name: Beauty and Clean”

@nando.pappalardo: then I will remind you of the fact that under the title

Beauty and Clean: a free minimal WordPress theme

on your website it is obvious to the reader that you offer us all tabs:

    General Technical Features
Figure 3 – Upload a logo from the theme management panel.

    And further down you add:

    Beauty & Clean, premium version
For those who have more advanced needs, we thought of a Premium version

    Or am I mistaken?

@nando.pappalardo: I “hear what you say” but still why illustrate the free version with an image from the premium version? I did read the whole article and understood that my free version wasn’t completely uploaded. This is just a tip not to disappoint readers/uploaders. /Kjell

VERY GOOD; progress, clarity, communication, reader friendly … I’m glad you appreciated my suggestion.
