    Hey guys,

First of all THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH for creating such an amazing plugin! It has helped me to be more organized and focused on writing and publishing content more consistently!

I’m going to slow down on the writing (2 articles a week) and focus on reposting old blog posts (5x week) I would like to know if there is a way with your calendar that I could choose which articles I would be reposting each day, and at the time I want them to be reposted.

I wouldn’t want to download another plugin because I would rather have everything in one calendar, so I can see the whole editorial calendar for the month including reposted and new posts. But if you don’t have the option yet, would you please develop? I bet many people would find this functionality useful, and I would be willing to buy for a plugin with this time saving capacities.

    Thank you!

    Jelanco

Thank you for using the Editorial Calendar. I’m so glad it helps.

The calendar doesn’t have a mechanism to duplicate or republish old posts. WordPress generally considers a posted post to be frozen. That’s why the calendar doesn’t allow you to change the dates for old posts.

The calendar would work well if you wanted to create a new post with the same contents, or if you wanted to unpublish old posts and turn them into drafts again.

    Good luck.

    Hi Zack!

Wow Incredible support. Thanks for the super fast reply!

Yes, I noticed that with most of the other calendar plugins, the old posts looked Frozen, and I can’t move them… Except with the “WP Content Calendar Lite” With them, I can drag old posts to other dates, however, I like your design/layout better.

If one day you decide to create or add some “reposting” capabilities to your editorial calendar, please let me know. I think it would give you a greater competitive advantage than what your already have… I’m willing to get a paid version if it becomes available. You could maybe do a poll later to see if other people will like those options to be available to see if it’s feasible for you to make…

Have a great day, and thanks again for the great support!!!

Thank you very much. I’ll keep you in the loop if we add reposting, but it’s not a likely feature for the Editorial Calendar. I’m trying to keep the calendar as simple and as usable as possible and that means I’m very careful about every new feature I add.

    Cheers,
    Zack
