Renaming a form

    Hello: I created a new form with the name “Form 1: Membership-new-proposed” for our beekeeping club. After the board agreed that it should be implemented on our site, I changed its name in the general settings (form 1 label:) to “Form 1: Membership 2016”. Everything works just fine, but when I click the database link, it is still named “Form 1: Membership-new-proposed” in the pulldown menu there.

    This inconsistency is not critical, just a minor annoyance. I am wondering if there is a setting I can change for clarity in case someone else takes on website duties in the future.

    Hi Ed Neubauer, can you pin point where you made the changes? Or perhaps share a screen capture, if you can.

    Can you also clarify the following comment.

    Dear mbrsolution: Thanks for your reply. I put something together with screenshots but can’t see how to attach a file here. Haven’t used this forum before. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Ed, from the screen capture I can see that you are using the following plugin Contact Form DB. Did you by any chance refresh or update the content in Contact Form DB plugin?

    This could be related to a cron job on your site. Or maybe even a cache refresh delay period.

    Did you log out from your browser, delete the browser cache and then logged back in again and checked?

    Yes, thanks, I did update the plugin. Now both listings are gone on the Database pulldown menu. Will try deleting the browser cache. Edit: Just reset the browser cache, but no change.

    This might be a plugin compatibility between both plugins. I have not tested Contact Form DB myself.

    Hello: Just wanted to update you… Thanks for your help. The pulldown menu in the database now matches the form labels. That was interesting; not sure why there was a delay. Thanks again for your time!!
