removing “meta” box

    if you are using sidebar widgets
    admin – appearance – widgets
    remove meta widget

    if not using sidebar widgets, open your theme’s sidebar.php and comment out or remove the code – it’s obvious and you can’t miss it
    admin – appearance – editor
    click on sidebar.php in right sidebar
