Removing black text box?

    Hi – Newbie question here I’m trying to repair a site that was running another theme…

    Question: Why is there A) a big dark space in the middle top of the page? I’ve been poking around, changing the page type to Gallery and Full Width, and I keep getting the black center Home menu on the page. (right now it’s on Gallery)

    I just want it to look like the theme picture, with a picture and a label… And where is this text about “Digital Marketing” coming from? How do I get rid of it?

    I want to get rid of the dorky Archives and Meta text too, but that’s another issue.

    Image isn’t appearing on the homepage. Try to paste the image properly.

    You can add some blank text widgets in Blog sidebar to remove the archives and meta
