Removing admin Variable toe data from source code

I am cleaning up my source code before making my site live, and
am trying to stop the several pages of variable toe data from
showing in the source code , starting with `/* <![CDATA[ */
var TOE_DATA = `
quite apart from slowing the page load down, and looking messy,
it also contains a lot of private admin emails and phone numbers
which I am sure shouldn’t be visible.
Have I forgotten to turn something off ? or is this normal.
