• Is there any way to remove the WP from pages like “wp-login.php” so it becomes simply “login.php”?

Don’t really want to mess with renaming all the files, 99% sure that won’t work and cause some headaches. Seems like there might be a plugin for this but as you may have guessed, searching for “WP” on this site doesn’t get very far for the 1 thing I am looking for.

  • Hi,

It can not be possible to rename the default files otherwise it causes a big mess to your blog..however you can rename the extension for your database tables from wp-config.php file..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
