Remove wordpress from the URL

    Hi everyone,

    I recently installed wordpress on ubuntu 7.04. My problem is that I would like to change the Blog URL to something like http://fancyname.domainname as opposed to http://domainname/wordpress.

    I am sure this can be done. Since I have already posted a few posts, I would like a solution that does not involve re-installing wordpress. Currently it sits in the same directory as apache. i.e.
    /var/www/apache
    /var/www/wordpress
