    I found post from 3 months ago:

    remove the following lines from header.php file in your template dir…
    to remove the RSS
    remove the following lines from the index.php file
    <span class=”rss”>

    I don’t have a Templates directory; don’t have header.php file. So how do I remove the RSS feed? I did pick a theme from the list of offerings.

    PS: I am a 2 day old newbie to WordPress

    You have both. Template directory = current theme. And you should have a header.php in your theme files.

    you should have a template directory. that’s where your theme is located on the server you are using. can you provide a link to the theme you are using?

    edit: oh well there you go esmi covered it

    Hi rbcwiki

    It seems that the theme doesn’t have rss icon, so you possibly mean you want to remove the “Entries RSS”? in your meta widget? You can use a minimeta plug in for that.
