Remove Multi Site Setup

I had created a multi-site by adding one subdomain. After feeling that the subdomain no longer served me I removed it through the Cpanel (hostgator). It is now not listed in Cpanel. But, when I am in wp-admin I still see “Network Admin”, the parent site and the subdomain I removed through Cpanel.

I want to be able to go back to the single site setup.

What are the steps to do so?
