I’m trying to find out where and how to remove an extra menu item. It’s 3 vertical dots at the far right of the menu that links to calendar from which you can choose blog posts to browse by date. It’s not helpful on this site (which uses wpForo).

Do you know how I can remove it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I would also like to remove the Search function from the Main Menu. It’s redundant to the search function in wpForo, which is the main purpose of the site. Thanks!

Here is a screenshot of the menu in closed position (before clicking on it).

And here it is in open position.

I would attach them here directly but don’t see a way to do that.

    Try this …

    GO TO CUSTOMIZE
    Customizing ▸ Layout Options > Mini-Sidebar

    CHECK “Disable Mini-Sidebar”

I think that is how I did it on my site.

It took me months to figure that out if you feel any better LOL

Haha, thanks @twerp. I very much appreciate the help. I found this, too, accidentally while trying to get rid of the actual left sidebar use that same setting. Seems to have removed the 3 dots thing.

Still don’t know how to get rid of the search function in my main menu. Don’t need it, since it’s made to search blog posts and this site doesn’t have any.

I think you would have to create a child theme, and hide it in the code with CSS display:none
