remove link between wordpress admin and member

Is it possible to remove the link between a member and the WordPress user “admin”?

I can’t seem to figure out how these 2 are linked but for instance when I change the specific member’s profile picture it is added to the WordPress “admin” user as well.

In this case the “admin” email address is the same as the user’s email address and actually the same person but I want to remove the link between the 2.
