Remove interactive like/share buttons in responsive theme?

Hello,

Just wondering if someone could tell me how to disable the interactive share buttons when viewing in responsive mode.

Whether I position them in the top left, top right, or bottom, the boxes smash up with the text and hover over top of each other when viewing responsive.
