How do I completely remove the comments/reply section in the template? I only receive spam instead of nice messages 🙁 Thanks in advance!

I know how to do this in the comments.php, but any future updates will overwrite it. I just commented out the bulk of it. If you figure out how to do it in a way that won’t be overwritten, I’d love to know too!

Hi @janeguild, this is what child themes were made for and is the best practice way of making your modifications.

This makes it so that any updates to the theme does not overwrite the changes you’ve made to the theme. Here are a couple resources for making child themes:
