Hi Mysweethings,
I’ve gone through your theme’s page templates, and all include a conditional statement so that if you allow comments from the back-end of the WP page editor panel, then these comments are displayed, otherwise they won’t be displayed.
You said you disabled comments on the page you created, but still see comments appearing. Something must have gone wrong.
These are the steps for disabling comments (taken from this thread:https://wordpress.org/support/topic/twenty-twelve-theme-cannot-remove-leave-a-reply-and-comments?replies=6):
So, using the Dashboard, you have to do this:
1. Go to Pages
2. Click on the page you want to change.
3. Click Screen Options (a little tab at top right corner) and make sure Discussion is checked.
4. Scroll down to bottom of page and you’ll see a Discussion option box (you won’t see this unless you followed Step 3).
5. Uncheck Allow Comments.
6. Repeat for all pages.
Make sure you save/update the page.
A more drastic move would be to remove the comments template completely from the page template, but this would require a child theme and a custom page template – I’d try the Page editor before going down that road, at least one more time.
I hope this helps 🙂
