try to hide this with CSS (in style.css of a child theme or via a custom CSS plugin):
.no-comments { display: none; }
if that does not work, please ask in your theme’s forum at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/gossip

Hi friends. I’m using Gossip theme and I just noticed that the words ‘Comments are closed’ appears on the bottom of some of my pages. How can I remove this language?
